In the Middle of a Smile: Description of work

In the Middle of a Smile

Singapore, January 2024

What happens in that moment… that can pass in an instant… or sometimes unfold into eternity?

In what ways do we reveal ourselves?

If we enter that vulnerable space between… to what do we open ourselves?

The pandemic challenged our notions of distance, connection, time, energy, trust

And to be together now, in this intimate space, is wonderful.

The piece is called “in the middle of a smile”.

What happens in that moment… that can pass in an instant… or sometimes unfold into eternity?

In what ways do we reveal ourselves?

If we enter that vulnerable space between… to what do we open ourselves?
